Infinite Space is a retrospective exhibition offering a compendium of the studio’s work engaging the question of how contemporary art represents new ways of imagining infinity. One of the great eighteenth-century English artists William Blake famously said, “if the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is – infinite.” Revisiting Blake’s statement, and seeking to cleanse the doors of perception with the tools available to twenty-first-century artists, this collection represents infinity as a spatial configuration at the intersection of machine intelligence, media, and architecture. 

Infinite Space offers a new visualization of digitized memories, expanding the possibilities of architecture, narrative, and the body in motion. It also suggests a dramatic rethinking of the physical world, our relationship to time and space, and the creative potential of machines to enhance our cognitive capacities. The works revisited in this retrospective include Infinity Room (2015), Wind Data Paintings (2017), Archive Dreaming (2017), Melting Memories (2018), Bosphorous (2018), and Pladis: Data Universe (2018).
